Punjab and Haryana High Court Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 167 Safai Sewak and Mali Posts

Punjab and Haryana High Court Recruitment 2026 has been released for Safai Sewak and Mali posts. The notification covers 167 vacancies and the online application process is open.

The High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh released the notice on 9th June 2026 at highcourtchd.gov.in. The application window closes on 30th June 2026 at 11:59 PM.

Punjab and Haryana High Court Recruitment 2026

The recruitment is for the High Court’s establishment at Chandigarh. Selected candidates’ pay and allowances will follow the latest applicable rules and instructions issued by the Government of Punjab and adopted by the High Court of Punjab and Haryana.

Application fees are listed at Rs. 700 for General and SC/ST/BC of other States, Rs. 600 for SC/ST/BC of Punjab, Haryana and U.T. Chandigarh, and Rs. 600 for Ex-Servicemen and PwD.

Educational qualification for both posts includes knowledge of Hindi and regional language. For Mali, preference is given to candidates with a diploma related to gardening from a recognized institute and/or three years’ experience as a Gardener. For Safai Sewak, preference is given to candidates with minimum three years’ experience as Safai Sewak (Sweeper).

The age limit is 18 to 35 years as on 30.06.2026. Age relaxation is listed as 10 years for PwD candidates and defence service years plus 3 years for Ex-Servicemen.

Selection will be based on interview. The notice also says suitable shortlisting criteria may be followed depending on the number of applications received, and candidates will be informed at the appropriate time.
