UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2026 Out, 13,343 Candidates Qualify for Mains Exam

UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2026 has been declared for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2026. The result is available as a roll number PDF on the official UPSC website.

The Union Public Service Commission released it on 15 June 2026. The exam was held on 24 May 2026, 13,343 candidates qualified for the Mains stage, and the official website is upsc.gov.in.

The shortlisted candidates will move to the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2026. Their candidature is provisional.

UPSC has fixed 19 June to 28 June 2026 for qualified candidates to log in to upsconline.nic.in and complete the required submission.

• Pay the examination fee of Rs. 200 for the Mains exam, with exemptions for Female, PwBD, SC, and ST candidates.
• Update or submit details for Scribe, Assistive Device, and large-font question papers, if applicable.
• Fill in cadre preferences for Civil Services (Main) Examination 2026.
• Reconfirm details and submit the application form to generate the e-Admit Card.

UPSC has said that failure to complete this window will lead to disqualification from further stages, even for candidates who had already submitted required documents. Marks, cut-off marks, and answer keys for CSE (Prelims) 2026 will be published only after the full Civil Services Examination 2026 and Indian Forest Service Examination 2026 process concludes, after the final result declaration.
