GSSSB Recruitment 2026
The Junior Pharmacist vacancies fall under the Health and Family Welfare Department, while the Junior Industry Inspector vacancies are under the Industries and Mines Department, Government of Gujarat. The exam date for both posts is to be notified.
Eligibility for both posts covers candidates aged 18 to 35 years, subject to the post-wise date reference mentioned in the notification. Junior Pharmacist requires B.Pharm, Pharm.D., or a Diploma in Pharmacy with about 2 years of experience, along with computer knowledge and adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both. Junior Industry Inspector requires B.E./B.Tech. excluding Civil Engineering, or a Diploma in Engineering/Technology excluding Civil Engineering with about 2 years of practical experience.
The recruitment uses a single-stage competitive written examination in MCQ format (CBRT/OMR), followed by document verification. The exam fee is Rs. 500 for Unreserved/General candidates and Rs. 400 for Reserved Categories, including all female, SEBC, SC, ST, EWS, PwD, and Ex-Servicemen candidates. Fee payment is available online through Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or Wallet, and the fee is refundable only to candidates who appear in the examination.
Selected candidates will receive a fixed salary of Rs. 40,800 per month for the first five years. After satisfactory completion of five years, regular appointment is linked to the Level-5 pay scale of Rs. 29,200 to Rs. 92,300.
