UCSL Workmen Recruitment 2026
The vacancies are distributed across UR, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS categories. Candidates must be domiciled in Karnataka to apply for these posts. The notification also confirms that all updates, corrigenda, and final selection lists will be available only on the UCSL website, with no hard copies accepted.
The application fee is ₹400 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates. SC and ST candidates are exempted from payment. The fee is non-refundable and can be paid online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, Wallets, or UPI.

Selection Process
- Phase I: Objective Type Offline Test — 30 marks
- Phase I duration: 35 minutes
- Phase II: Practical Test in the relevant trade — 70 marks
- No negative marks in Phase I
- OBC reserved posts require 45% in Phase I and 45% in Phase II
- SC/ST reserved posts require 40% in Phase I and 40% in Phase II

- Pipe Fitter: ITI in Fitter, Plumber, or Sanitary Fitter, or NSQF equivalent
- Welder: ITI in Welder, or NSQF equivalent
- Electrician: ITI in Electrician, Wireman, or Electronic Mechanical, or NSQF equivalent
- Machinery Fitter: ITI in Fitter, Diesel Mechanic, Machinist, or Instrument Mechanic, or NSQF equivalent
- Each post requires at least 2 years of post-qualification experience
