GSSSB Recruitment 2026 Opens for Mechanical Assistant Engineer and Radiotherapy Technician
The recruitment covers two separate Class-3 posts under direct recruitment. Additional Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) is under the Gujarat Water Supply and Sewerage Board, while Radiotherapy Technician is under the Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Health and Family Welfare Department.

Eligibility and age limit
- Additional Assistant Engineer (Mechanical): Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Automobile Engineering, along with basic computer knowledge and knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi.
- Radiotherapy Technician: Higher Secondary Certificate with Science subjects and either a two-year Radiotherapy Technologist course with two years of field training approved by AERB, or a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Radiotherapy Technology with one year of field training approved by AERB.
- Additional Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) age limit: 18 to 33 years.
- Radiotherapy Technician age limit: 18 to 36 years.
- Age limit reckoning date: 29th June 2026.
Selection and application details
- Selection is based on a single competitive written examination in CBRT or OMR mode.
- The examination includes Part-A with general subjects for 90 marks and Part-B with technical subjects for 120 marks.
- Shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification.
