CISF ASI Paramedical Recruitment 2026
The recruitment is for eligible male and female Indian citizens. The posts are temporary and likely to become permanent. Selected personnel will be placed in Pay Level-5 with a salary of Rs. 29,200 to Rs. 92,300 in the 7th CPC Matrix.
Ten percent of the total vacancies are reserved for Ex-Servicemen. The direct-candidate age limit is 18 to 28 years. Upper age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, up to 40 years for General/EWS/OBC departmental candidates, and up to 45 years for SC/ST departmental candidates.
Educational qualification varies by post:
- ASI Pharmacist: 10+2, Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy, and registration as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
- ASI X-Ray Technician: 10+2 with a 2-year Diploma in Radiography.
- ASI Lab Technician: 10+2 with Science and a 2-year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.
Physical standards listed for direct candidates include category-wise height and chest measurements. For General, EWS, SC, and OBC, the male height is 170 cms, chest is 80-85 cms, and female height is 157 cms. For Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, Sikkimies, and North-Eastern States, male height is 165 cms and female height is 155 cms. For Scheduled Tribes, male height is 162.5 cms, chest is 77-82 cms, and female height is 154 cms.
The selection process includes a Written Examination, Physical Standard Test, Documentation, Basic Vocational Aptitude Test, and Medical Examination. The written exam is an objective-type OMR or Computer-Based Test of 100 marks and 2 hours duration, bilingual in English and Hindi, with no negative marking. Shortlisted candidates, around five times the vacancies, move to PST.
Applications are submitted online through the CISF recruitment portal. The fee is Rs. 100 for General, UR, OBC, and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, female candidates, and Ex-Servicemen are exempted. SBI challan payment can be made up to 9th July 2026 if the challan is generated by 7th July 2026.
