ISRO URSC JRF Recruitment 2026

The recruitment is designed to engage Junior Research Fellows on a contractual basis for advanced research and development activities at U R Rao Satellite Centre, Bengaluru. URSC is described as working across spacecraft conceptualization, design, development, fabrication, testing, launch, and in-orbit management.

The fellowship is initially for two years and can be extended further based on work assessment and project requirement. The combined engagement period as JRF and Senior Research Fellow will not exceed five years.

Applicants must have qualified GATE, CSIR-UGC NET, or equivalent national-level examinations. The notice also says that only passed candidates are eligible and students awaiting final results are not eligible.

The fellowship stipend is Rs. 37,000 per month for JRF and Rs. 42,000 per month for SRF. The maximum age limit is 28 years as on 11th July 2026.
