JoSAA Cutoff 2026 Released: Round 1 Closing Ranks for IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs

JoSAA Cutoff 2026 has been released for Round 1, with opening and closing ranks now available for IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.

The update was released on June 13, 2026, and the Round 1 seat allotment result has also been announced on the official JoSAA website.

JoSAA Cutoff 2026 Released

JoSAA has announced the Round 1 seat allotment result alongside the cutoff release. The result shows the allotted IIT, NIT, IIIT, or GFTI, the branch received, and the allotment basis tied to JEE Main or JEE Advanced rank and the choices filled during counselling.

Some JoSAA Cutoff 2026 PDFs for NITs are already available, and PDFs for other NITs will be added soon.

• Round 1 seat allotment result: June 13, 2026
• Online reporting, fee payment, document upload, and Freeze/Float/Slide: June 13 to June 26, 2026
• Fee payment issue resolution: June 29, 2026
• Last date to reply to queries: June 29, 2026
• Seat acceptance fee for General category: ₹30,000
• Seat acceptance fee for Reserved category: ₹15,000

The cutoff can be checked on the official JoSAA website by opening the eServices section and selecting the OR-CR 2026 link. The page then asks for the counselling round, institute type, institute name, academic programme, and seat category before showing the opening and closing ranks.

Freeze, Float and Slide in JoSAA counselling

Freeze means the allotted college and branch are accepted with no further participation in later rounds. Float means the current seat is accepted while keeping a chance for a better college or branch in upcoming rounds. Slide means the current college is accepted while seeking a better branch in the same institute.
