NMDC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2026 has been released for 59 Junior Engineer (Mining) (Contractual) vacancies in Grade CE-04.

NMDC Limited issued Employment Notification No. 04/2026 on 22nd April 2026 at www.nmdc.co.in. The online application window runs from 22nd April 2026 (10:00 AM) to 6th May 2026 (11:45 PM).

NMDC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2026 Selection Process Revised for 59 JE Posts

The selection process for Junior Engineer (Mining) (CE-04) now has two stages: a Computer Based Test (CBT) and a Supervisory Skill Test. Candidates have to qualify the CBT with category-wise minimum marks, and those within the 1:3 ratio, along with tied candidates, will be called for the Supervisory Skill Test.

Final selection will be based on CBT marks, subject to qualifying the Skill Test. The notification also includes eligibility criteria, registration dates, application fee, consolidated pay, and other recruitment details.

• Eligible candidates need a Diploma in Mining Engineering.
• The diploma must be a 3-year course from a university or institution recognized by UGC, AICTE, or the Government of India.
• A Foreman’s Certificate of Competency for metalliferous mines is listed as a desirable qualification.
• The recruitment is for 59 vacancies in the Junior Engineer (Mining) (Contractual) post.

• Consolidated pay is ₹60,000 per month.
• Annual increment is up to 5% based on performance.
• The contract period is up to 3 years initially or till age of 60 years, whichever is earlier.
• One month of On the Job Training (OJT) is included.
• Accidental group insurance is covered for accidents out of or in the course of employment.
• Outpatient expenses are ₹35,000 per annum for self-treatment.
• Leave entitlement includes 12 casual leaves and 20 medical leaves per calendar year.
• TA/DA is applicable for official tours.
