NMDC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2026 Selection Process Revised for 59 JE Posts

The selection process for Junior Engineer (Mining) (CE-04) now has two stages: a Computer Based Test (CBT) and a Supervisory Skill Test. Candidates have to qualify the CBT with category-wise minimum marks, and those within the 1:3 ratio, along with tied candidates, will be called for the Supervisory Skill Test.

Final selection will be based on CBT marks, subject to qualifying the Skill Test. The notification also includes eligibility criteria, registration dates, application fee, consolidated pay, and other recruitment details.

  • Eligible candidates need a Diploma in Mining Engineering.
  • The diploma must be a 3-year course from a university or institution recognized by UGC, AICTE, or the Government of India.
  • A Foreman’s Certificate of Competency for metalliferous mines is listed as a desirable qualification.
  • The recruitment is for 59 vacancies in the Junior Engineer (Mining) (Contractual) post.
  • Consolidated pay is ₹60,000 per month.
  • Annual increment is up to 5% based on performance.
