PSPCL Punjab Recruitment 2026 Opens for 116 Fireman, Electrician, Laboratory Assistant and Other Posts

PSPCL Recruitment 2026 has been released for 116 vacancies across Fireman, Laboratory Assistant, Electrician Grade-1, Technician, Welder, and other posts. The recruitment covers multiple technical and support roles under Punjab State Power Corporation Limited.

Punjab State Power Corporation Limited issued the CRA 314/26 recruitment update on 8th June 2026. The application process starts on 11th June 2026, and the official website is www.pspcl.in.

The recruitment includes Certified Welder, Auxiliary Plant Attendant (Mechanical), Bulldozer Operator, Laboratory Assistant, Electrician Grade-1, Technician Grade-1 (Mechanical & Instrumentation), Welder Grade-1, Loco Shunter Operator, and Fireman.

• The online application process starts on 11th June 2026.
• The last date to apply is 1st July 2026.
• The last date to deposit the fee is 6th July 2026.
• The selection process includes Online Test, Document Verification, and Physical Test for Fireman.
• The exam mode is Online Computer-Based Test (CBT).
• Wrong answers in the main sections carry 0.25 negative marking.
• The application fee is Rs. 1416 for all candidates except SC and PwD.
• The application fee is Rs. 885 for SC and PwD candidates, excluding bank charges.
• Punjabi of at least Matriculation level is essential for all posts.

Fireman requires 10th pass with Punjabi and a 1-year Fire Fighting certificate or diploma with at least 50% marks. Laboratory Assistant requires B.Sc. with Chemistry as the main subject with minimum 60%, or M.Sc. in Chemistry with minimum 50%.

Electrician and Technician Grade-1 require a 3/4-year diploma in relevant engineering with minimum 50%, or Matric plus ITI in a relevant discipline with minimum 60% and 2 years’ experience as Grade-2. Bulldozer Operator and Loco Shunter Operator require Matric with Heavy Duty Driving License. Welder and Certified Welder require Matric with ITI in welding and IBR 1950 welding certificate.

The age limit is 18 to 37 years as of 01/01/2026. Age relaxation is listed for SC/BC, PwD, Ex-Serviceman, and widows/divorced women.
