UPSSSC Excise Constable Recruitment 2026

Vacancy details
A total of 722 posts have been announced for Excise Constable recruitment. The source gives category-wise vacancies separately for normal and special selection posts.

Eligibility details
Applicants must have passed Intermediate (10+2) from the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education or any other examination recognised as equivalent by the Government. Only PET-2026 qualified candidates with a valid scorecard can move ahead in the process.
Where merit is equal, preference will be given to candidates who have served in the Territorial Army for two years or who hold a ‘B’ Certificate of the National Cadet Corps.
Age limit
The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 40 years as on 01st July 2026. Age relaxation applies for reserved and eligible groups as per government orders.

Selection process
The selection process has four stages. These include shortlisting for the Main Examination, the Main Written Exam, PMT, and PET.

Salary and pay level
Selected candidates will be appointed at Level-2 of the Uttar Pradesh Pay Matrix. The pay scale is ₹19,900 to ₹63,200, with minimum salary of ₹19,900 per month plus allowances.

Application fee
The online processing fee is ₹25 for General, OBC, SC, and ST categories. For DFF, Ex-Servicemen, Women, PwD, and Outstanding Sportsperson candidates, the fee is as per the original category plus ₹25 processing fee.
