MRPL Fire Officer Recruitment 2026 Notification Out, Apply Online for Fixed Term Posts

MRPL Fire Officer Recruitment 2026 has been released for engagement on Personnel on Fixed Term Employment (PFTE) basis. The notification carries 5 vacancies for the Fire Officer post.

Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited opened the online application process on 17 June 2026 at https://www.mrpl.co.in/careers. The last date to apply is 16 July 2026 till 18:00 hrs (IST).

MRPL Fire Officer Recruitment 2026 Notification Out

The post is at Executive Level L1. Applicants need a Bachelor’s degree in Fire or Fire and Safety Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks and at least 5 years of post-qualification work experience in Fire or Fire and Safety in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, or Fertilizer industry.

The post is suitable for PwBD candidates with HH, ASD(M), and SLD categories and a minimum 40% disability. Ex-Servicemen are covered as per Government of India rules, and the cut-off date for maximum permissible age is 16.07.2026.

Selection process

• Personal Interview (PI) is the only selection stage.
• Candidates may be shortlisted for PI in the ratio of 1:10.
• If eligible candidates exceed the ratio, MRPL may use higher educational qualification, higher relevant work experience, or a written screening test.
• Written test qualifying marks for UR/OBC(NCL) candidates are 50%.
• PI qualifying marks are 50%.
• In case of a tie, the older candidate by date of birth gets preference.

Application fee and pay details

• General/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates: Rs. 118.
• SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates: exempted.
• Annual consolidated pay: ₹13 lakh for experience above 5 years up to 6 years.
• Annual consolidated pay: ₹14 lakh for experience more than 6 years.
