TGPSC Lecturer Recruitment 2026 has been released for Senior Lecturers and Lecturers in District Institutes of Education and Training in Telangana. The notification covers 86 posts across Multi-Zone I and Multi-Zone II.

The recruitment includes Senior Lecturer in DIET under Post Code 01 and Lecturers in DIET under Post Codes 02 to 19. The posts fall under the School Education Department in Telangana and are spread across multiple subjects and specializations.

The notification lists educational qualifications, age limits, fee details, and the examination pattern. It also states that hall tickets will be available 7 days prior to the exam date.

Educational qualification requirements include a Post Graduate degree in the relevant subject with not less than 55% marks from a UGC-recognized university, along with an M.Ed. degree with not less than 55% marks from an NCTE-recognized institution. For Lecturer in Physical Education, the required qualification is a Post Graduate Degree in Physical Education with not less than 55% marks from an NCTE-recognized university.

For SC, ST, BC, and Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks are 50%. The age limit is 18 years to 44 years, with the date limits stated as not born after 01/07/2008 and not born before 02/07/1982. Age relaxations include 10 years for PH candidates, up to 5 years for Telangana State Government Employees, and 3 years plus service rendered for Ex-Servicemen.

The application processing fee is Rs. 1000 for OC and BC applicants, Rs. 500 for SC, ST, and PwD applicants, and Rs. 120 for all candidates except unemployed applicants and employees of Government, PSUs, and Corporations. The selection will be through a written examination in OMR-based offline mode or CBRT mode, as decided by the Commission. Paper I is General Studies and General Abilities for 150 marks, and Paper II is the concerned subject for 150 marks. Normalization applies for multi-session CBRT, and final merit depends on total marks. Original document verification and a medical examination are also listed before final appointment.
