RCF Kapurthala Sports Quota Recruitment 2026 Begins

The recruitment covers posts in Level-1, Level-2, and Level-4/5 of the 7th CPC. The vacancies are listed across hockey, weightlifting, athletics, cross country, wrestling, football, and cricket, with men’s and women’s categories included in the notice.

• Hockey (Men): 1 vacancy for Midfielder.
• Hockey (Women): 4 vacancies for Defender and Goal Keeper positions.
• Weightlifting (Women): 3 vacancies for 53 kg, 63 kg, and 86 kg categories.
• Athletics (Women): 2 vacancies for 800 metres and discus throw.
• Cross Country (Women): 4 vacancies for 10 km.
• Athletics (Men): 1 vacancy for 1500 metres.
• Wrestling (Men, Freestyle): 3 vacancies for 57 kg, 70 kg, and 74 kg.
• Football (Men): 3 vacancies for Left Fullback, Left Winger, and Right Winger.
• Cricket (Men): 2 vacancies for Top Order Batsman and Fast Bowler.

The age limit is 18-25 years as on 01.07.2026, with no age relaxation for the open advertisement. For Level-1, the minimum education includes 10th Pass, ITI, equivalent, or NAC granted by NCVT. For Level-2, the requirement is 10th Pass or 10th Pass plus Act Apprentice/ITI certificate granted by NCVT in relevant trades. For Level-4/5, the requirement is a degree from a recognized university or equivalent, along with typing proficiency in English or Hindi on computer for Senior Clerk-Cum-Typist.

The selection process includes a trial for all eligible candidates. Only candidates declared FIT, securing 25 or more marks out of 40 in game skill, physical fitness, and coach’s observation, move to further assessment. The final assessment carries 50 marks for recognized sports achievements, 40 marks for trials, and 10 marks for educational qualification. The minimum qualifying marks for Level-4/5 are 70.

Application fees are Rs. 500 for candidates other than exempted categories, with Rs. 400 refunded after bank charges if the candidate appears in the trial. For SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Disability, Women, Minorities, and Economically Backward Class candidates, the fee is Rs. 250, with Rs. 200 refunded after bank charges if the candidate appears in the trial.
