KSP Constable Recruitment 2026
The recruitment is being handled by Karnataka State Police under the Karnataka Government. The written examination will be conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority.
The pay scale for the post is Rs. 37,500 to Rs. 76,100 per month. The selection process includes a Written Test, Physical Standard Test, Endurance Test, and Medical Examination.
- Age limit for general category candidates: 18 to 33 years.
- Educational qualification: PUC (Class 12) or equivalent.
- Application fee for General and other categories: Rs. 750.
- Application fee for SC, ST, Cat-1, Ex-Servicemen, and 3rd Gender: Rs. 500.
- Fee payment closes on 4th July 2026.
- Written test is offline OMR-based and carries 100 marks.
- Minimum qualifying marks in the written test: 30 out of 100.
- Negative marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Physical and endurance test details
The PST and endurance test stages are part of the selection process. The endurance test includes a 1600m run, high jump or long jump, and shot put. Candidates who qualify all physical and medical tests are shortlisted in a 1:2 ratio per vacancy for final merit-based selection.
