Eligibility details
Candidates must have passed Intermediate from the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh, or an equivalent recognised examination. A typing speed of 25 words per minute in Hindi and 30 words per minute in English is required.
Candidates must also have a CCC certificate issued by DOEACC Society, now NIELIT, or an equivalent certificate from a recognised institution. Those who studied Computer Science as a separate subject in High School or Intermediate, or who hold a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, are also eligible.
Age limit
The age limit is 18 to 40 years as on 1 July 2026. Relaxation is available for reserved categories as per Uttar Pradesh Government rules.

- UP State Government permanent employees with minimum 3 years regular service: up to 5 years
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years plus length of military service, subject to the stated condition
Selection process
Selection will be done in two stages. The first stage is the Computer Based Test, and the second stage is the Typing Test.
- Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Shortlisting for Typing Test will be based on CBT merit
- Candidates equal to 3 times the number of advertised vacancies will be called for Typing Test
- Stage 2: Typing Test
- Typing Test will be qualifying in nature
- Final merit list will include only candidates who qualify in the Typing Test
