SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026
The State Bank of India has issued the detailed notification under Advertisement No. CRPD/APPR/2026-27/07. The recruitment is for Apprentice posts under the Apprenticeship Act 1961.
Vacancy details
A total of 7150 vacancies have been announced for Apprentice posts. The application form is available only in online mode.
Eligibility details
Candidates need a Graduation degree from a recognised university or institute as on 1st April 2026. They also need knowledge of the local language of the state applied for in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding.
Candidates who studied the local language in Class 10 or Class 12 are exempt from the language test.
Age limit
The age limit is 20 to 28 years as on 1st April 2026. The minimum age means the candidate should be born on or before 01.04.2006, while the maximum age means born on or after 02.04.1998.
Age relaxation applies as per Government of India guidelines for reserved categories.
Selection process
The selection process includes an online written test and a test of local language. The written test has 100 objective questions for 100 marks and the duration is 60 minutes.
- General/Financial Awareness: 25 marks
- General English: 25 marks
- Quantitative Aptitude: 25 marks
- Reasoning & Computer Aptitude: 25 marks
- Negative marking: 1/4th mark for each wrong answer
The local language test is held only after qualifying the written exam. The selection details also mention medical examination as per rules.

- Register with a valid mobile number and email ID.
- Fill the application form and save data if needed.
- Upload photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration in the required format.
- Pay the fee online through debit card, credit card, or net banking.
- Submit the form and keep a printout for records.
