Rajasthan SET 2026 Notification Out: Eligibility, Online Application Steps, Last Date and Exam Details

Rajasthan SET 2026 notification has been released for the State Eligibility Test for Assistant Professor in Rajasthan.

The University of Kota released it in June 2026. Applications run from 14 June 2026 to 15 July 2026 through www.uok.ac.in or the SSO portal of Rajasthan, and the exam is scheduled for 6 September 2026.

The notification covers 35 subjects across the state. The test will be held in offline, OMR-based MCQ mode and will have two papers, Paper I and Paper II, with no negative marking. The question paper will be in English and Hindi, except for language papers, which will be in the concerned language.

For eligibility, General, Unreserved, and General-EWS candidates need 55% marks in a Master’s degree or equivalent from a UGC-recognized university. OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, and Third gender candidates need 50% marks in a Master’s degree. Final-year students and candidates whose results are awaited can apply provisionally. There is no upper age limit, and the SET certificate is valid forever but only for Rajasthan.

• The exam duration is 3 hours, or 180 minutes, without a break between Paper I and Paper II.
• The application fee is Rs. 1500 for General / SBC / OBC (Creamy layer) of Rajasthan state and out of state candidates.
• The fee is Rs. 1200 for EWS / SBC / OBC (Non-Creamy layer) of Rajasthan state candidates.
• The fee is Rs. 750 for SC / ST of Rajasthan State and all PwD candidates.
• Third gender candidates get the same fee and eligibility relaxation as SC/ST/PwD categories.
